Now after the end of the report, Whatsapp will not offer any security updates and new features in the future.

The new feature was spotted by watcher of the popular chat app WABetaInfo, which said that the feature is only available to those who have signed up to the beta version of WhatsApp. If you want to switch to a video call with someone during a voice call, then a request will be sent to another user. By introducing this feature, WhatsApp is basically aiming to save user's time when switching between video and voice call or the other way around. Apart from these, the instant messaging application is set to add various new features that will make WhatsApp more fun to use.

With this new feature, the users will see a new button on the screen which will directly switch the audio call to video call or video call to audio.

Whatsapp for Android is 2.18.1 in its beta channel and the ability to switch between calls will only work if both handsets have camera capability. The feature is now available for WhatsApp beta for Android and we can definitely expect the feature to debut soon for all Android users around the world. This option should appear during your voice calls. Note: the recipient can either accept or reject the request, depending on their wish.

Toyota is bringing Alexa to select vehicles this year
Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT support should reach TiVo set-tops over the next few months, so you'll need to be patient. Alexa integration is planned for more Toyota models next year, according to a statement.

WhatsApp has been working on the Quick Switch feature since last few months.

After all, there are times when a voice call may be initiated between two strangers or people who are talking for the first time for a goal. While features tested on beta mode do not necessarily make it to an official release, but can surely be looked forward to. The latest updated version of this update is 2.18.2 which brings mainly hidden features to the app. However, chances are it may come to the Android users very soon.

Apart from the switch feature, WhatsApp has also added yet another useful feature (currently exclusive for iOS).
