"It's a false rumor" that there is tension in the relationship between the US and the United Kingdom, Trump said.

She acknowledged that Germany is facing serious challenges of its own, most notably a social polarization not seen for decades, caused by the euro and migration crises of recent years.

During a phone conversation between the two world leaders past year, "Trump complained to May over the criticism he'd been getting in British newspapers", Bloomberg reported, based on conversations with current and former US and United Kingdom officials.

In the speech, she will say that she wants a new advisory body to co-ordinate AI efforts with other countries.

Trump says he and May have a "really great relationship, although some people don't necessarily believe that".

A poll a year ago found that 4% - roughly 2.5 million people - of Britain's population would protest a state visit by Trump. And alongside that, working for a good trade relationship in the future which will be to both our benefits. We're facing the same challenges across the world. "MELANIA will stay behind and getting a LAWYER, also she will be taken care of by the SECRET SERVICE, They do a service that's why its a secret", a tweet noted.

She highlighted how modern technology giants like Google and Alibaba were changing the lives of billions of people, but that new technology is also threatening ways of life and jobs.

She said that while many people welcomed the freedom the internet had brought this "hasn't been completely true for everyone".

Rory McIlroy hoping to make up for lost time in Dubai
I feel like I've got a bit of a spring back in my step because of what happened last week and I'm very confident in myself. McIlroy has a busy schedule ahead of the Masters, and next up is the Dubai Desert Classic .

"It just means that President Trump is looking out for American workers and American interests, no different than he expects other leaders would look out for their own", he said.

In the lead-up to Trump's arrival, other leaders at the meeting have argued against any drift toward protectionism in the global economy. The president complained that the Obama administration made a "bad deal" in selling the previous embassy, though the decision was made in 2006, during President George W. Bush's second term, according to the State Department.

As Britain prepares to negotiate its future relations with the European Union, its Treasury chief, Philip Hammond, said that any post-Brexit trade deal with the bloc would have to cover services — particularly finance, a big and lucrative sector for Britain. "As we look at United States growth, it continues to look quite good and is a very attractive place to invest", he added. "But still, it's a problem we would have loved to be rid of", he told CNBC television in Davos.

But, the talking point around Mrs May will not be what happens in her setpiece address, but what happens on the sidelines between her and Mr Trump.

Trump commented as he opened a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during an economic summit in Davos, Switzerland.

With Netanyahu, the conversation in front of the cameras focused largely on the president's announcement last month that the USA would recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital and begin the process of moving its embassy there.

There's growing cohesion among executives - cutting across industry and even geography - that Trump's tax plan is going to deliver massive new investment in the United States, which should, in turn, boost growth and employment.
