He was taken to the locker room, and never returned to the game.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was present at the start of Saturday's practice session.

Gronkowski did not practice for the third straight day Friday as a result of the head injury suffered in the AFC Championship Game. Aside from Gronkowski, defensive lineman Deatrich Wise will join the All-Pro tight end on the sidelines with a concussion if the game is played this Sunday.

It appears as though Rob Gronkowski is going to be ready for Super Bowl Sunday.

Youth tackle football ban proposed in bill
Children under 12 would still be able to participate in all other athletic activities offered by organized youth sports programs. Peewee football leagues in IL could be playing an entirely different game if legislatures in the state get their wish.

According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, Church was fined $24,309 for the hit.

Afterwards, Church was apologetic and hoped Gronkowski is able to play in the Super Bowl.

In addition, Tom Brady practiced without a glove on his throwing hand on Saturday in Foxboro's relatively comfortable 50-degree weather.

The good news for the Patriots is Gronkowski has one more week to heal before New England takes on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII. The injury didn't seem to be an issue for the five-time Super Bowl champion in the AFC championship game and he wasn't listed on Friday's injury report.
