The Mumbai Cricket Association announced the squad three days prior to the U-19 World Cup final in New Zealand. "We did not play our No. 1 one game in the final - that we played in the quarterfinal (v Bangladesh) and semifinal (versus Pakistan)".

Though Pakistan U-19 team suffered a nightmarish defeat against India in the semi-final of U-19 World Cup by 203 runs while chasing 273 runs, the left-arm fast bowler caught the eyes of cricket fraternity. Prithvi Shaw-led Boys in Blue created history by winning a record fourth title, beating Australia by eight wickets in the World Cup finals in New Zealand.

As the presser came to an end, Dravid was asked if the pain of not lifting a World Cup with the senior team was subdued after winning this one.

He said: "The real satisfaction is the process which we followed in last 15-16 months, that is the planning and preparations to develop the young players".

Plucky nurse's flu video goes viral
The video features Katherine Lockler in the front seat of her auto coming off of a 12-hour shift at the hospital where she works. Her reasoning? If you go in there for one ailment, you'll probably catch another, namely the flu.

At a press conference in Mumbai, Dravid affirmed, "Not lifting the World Cup (as player) is not a pain for me anymore". They deserve it. It's been a lot of sacrifices, the way they played in the World Cup. They are the ones who stand up in such pressure games, they are the ones who stood up & showed maturity. I feel that once the boys are good enough they should go on to play men's cricket, especially those who had played first class cricket. It is interesting; the result of the final is India beat Australia but six years down the line only one of those boys has played for India while five-six of them went on to play for Australia. "I'm just happy for the Under-19 boys for their achievement", he said. You get many things from them. I am really happy because of these fifteen boys winning the World Cup. It's not easy to get into the India side. Nadeem Khan, Pakistan U-19 team manager had mentioned about Dravid's visit to Pakistan dressing room to boost the morale of the team.

Over time the spotlight has grown on the tournament and teams have started to plan meticulously to win the title. Be it U-19 or any other age group, we have tournaments and guidance in place to groom talented youngsters.

"Even [Indian coach] Rahul Dravid came to me after the match and said Shaheen has all it takes to be a future star and become a real asset to the national side", he added.
