E! producers are asking NBC to delay their pre-Oscar "Live From the Red Carpet" show by at least 30 seconds in case some stars become confrontational with host Ryan Seacrest, according to a report. Seacrest has denied the allegations after a third-party investigation by the network cleared him of any actionable wrongdoing.

The cabler, however, won't confirm the delay, instead insisting it's "business as usual" on the carpet.

An E! spokesperson said that delaying celebrity interviews is not new for them. As sexual harassment allegations swirl around 43-year-old, the spotlight will focus on the embattled TV host as much as the stars he will be interviewing.

Seacrest has denied all the allegations, and even made a claim of his own by saying that Hardy offered to retract her accusations if the host pays her a significant amount of money.

Kelly Ripa is reportedly "livid" with Ryan Seacrest despite her public show of support for him on Thursday (03.01.18).
