But whatever. Christopher Robin has us all up in our feels, thanks to its powerful nostalgia factor.

"Winnie the Pooh" fans got a first look at Disney's return to the Hundred Acre Wood on Tuesday when the studio released a teaser for its upcoming movie "Christopher Robin".

The Marc Forster-directed film follows the titular character, who as a young boy used to go on adventures with his lovable stuffed animals.

But Christopher Robin's friends haven't given up on him - they're back to help him find the magic in the world once again.

However, this particular Christopher Robin movie distinguishes itself as a non-fiction continuity sequel to the classic children's mythology.

Broncos, Cardinals, Jets, Vikings Finalists For Kirk Cousins
Starting NFL quarterbacks don't grow on trees, let alone ones as talented as the 29-year-old longtime Washington Redskin . The Redskins used the franchise tag on Cousins twice, giving him $23.94 million for his last season's services.

Christopher Robin is stuck in a job where he is overworked, underpaid and facing an uncertain future.

"Christopher Robin" opens in theaters August 3.

This summer, audiences will return to the Hundred Acre Wood in a live-action Winnie the Pooh film centered on an adult Christopher Robin. But when he is reunited with Winnie the Pooh, now tattered and soiled from years of hugs and play, a spark is rekindled, and he is reminded of the endless days of childlike wonder and make believe that defined his youth, when doing nothing could be considered something.

Forster works off a script by Allison Schroeder (Hidden Figure, Mean Girls 2), who was brought onboard to give the screenplay another rewrite after it was originally written by Alex Ross Perry (Golden Exits) and later revised by Tom McCarthy (Spotlight), who moved on to co-write/direct another Disney film project called Timmy Failure. The producers are Brigham Taylor and Kristin Burr with Renée Wolfe and Jeremy Johns serving as executive producers.
