Internationally too, the film has fared well, having crossed the one million mark. Anushka Sharma has scared the fans after being loved as a friendly spirit in her previous film Phillauri.

Anushka Sharma's horror film, Pari, hit screens on March 2. Pari is directed by debutante Prosit Roy and also stars Parambrata, Rajat Kapoor and Ritabhari Chakraborty in other important roles. While the promos got good response from the viewers, the movie hasn't been well received by the audience. The film has to now perform well in the weekdays, before the release of the next film, to register a reasonable performance by the end of the opening week. The atmospheric thriller did not record a big jump in its collections on Saturday and Sunday, but managed to keep its hold at the ticket windows. It won't be a surprise if the film pockets Rs 10 crore on Sunday.

The movie had registered a business of Rs 20 crore in 3 weeks. On Saturday, the movie witnessed decent growth and eared 5.47 crores. The film has set a new benchmark in the Hindi horror genre.

If everything goes fine in initial five days of release, Anushka Sharma starrer Bollywood offering has the potential of raking in an amount of Rs 1.75 crore on sixth day of its release. However, unfortunately, Pari has now been banned in Pakistan. In fact, it saw small drop and earned around 5.1 crores.
