He also saw a lot more action off short passes, resulting in career high targets (88), receptions (59), receiving yards (350), and receiving yards per game average (21.9). The Browns are getting an upgrade over Crowell and perhaps opening up other possibilities at the No. 1 overall pick aside from Saquon Barkley, but this signing isn't going to change the complexion of 2018.

The only team standing in the way of the Giants and Barkley was the Cleveland Browns. Even in a standard format, 13 of the top 15 running backs totaled at least 269 yards through the air.

Hue Jackson surrendering play calling duties was a good sign for the Browns this offseason. We were bullish on Hyde's fantasy football prospects a season ago as Shanahan arrived, and although he couldn't fully capitalize on that opportunity, this is another ideal one for Hyde with the Browns, who just signed former Steeler Chris Hubbard to round out their talented and high-priced offensive line.

ESPN's Pat McManamon reported that the Browns will still consider taking the Penn State product, though USA Today's Jeff Risdon believes that Cleveland is out of the Barkley sweepstakes. Hyde had a solid rookie season behind then starter Frank Gore, amassing 83 carries for 333 yards and four touchdowns.

FSU in as a No. 9 seed, will open vs. Missouri
The Seminoles' season was one of close wins and close losses, but they're not heading into the NCAA Tournament with much momentum. Meanwhile, one of their star players is now out for the game because he got a DWI the weekend ahead of the tournament.

Many see them drafting a quarterback and the team also signed Jonathan Stewart in free agency to help bolster their ground game.

He was drafted by the 49ers with the No. 57 pick in the second round, and third overall among running backs, behind Bishop Sankey and Jeremy Hill. Through the air, the former 49ers starting running back added 109 receptions and amassed 634 yards, scoring another three touchdowns.

Over his entire four-year career, he has never rushed for 1,000 yards. The closest he came was 988 in 2016 when he missed three games with various injuries.
