If Mathieu wants to play for a strong secondary, the Chargers would be a good fit.

The Arizona Cardinals are working to restructure the contract of safety Tyrann Mathieu. Mathieu was a Heisman finalist in 2011 and an All-Pro in Arizona in 2015.

"Going into my first draft as a general manager, there's no way that I thought a player like Tyrann Mathieu should get a second chance", Keim said. His absence was sorely felt as the team that went 13-3 and won the NFC West faltered down the stretch, barely getting past Green Bay in the divisional round before being routed by Carolina in the NFC championship game.

As Mathieu's future with the Cardinals continues to be negotiated, Mathieu said he has "just tried to enjoy" the offseason.

"I felt I finished last season on a positive note". He recorded 66 tackles, defended seven passes, intercepted two others, and recorded one sack.

The Honey Badger has amassed 11 career interceptions, including one for a touchdown.

In his women's bracket , the Final Four includes UConn, Notre Dame, Mississippi State and Louisville. Obama has Kentucky's other tournament team, Murray State, losing the first round to West Virginia.

He has torn the ACL in his left knee twice and, after earning the starting job in Minnesota, missed most of last season after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.

Tyrann Mathieu joined the Cardinals in 2013 with an established reputation as a fearless safety who threw his body around with reckless abandon and someone who knew how to stir the pot. But they simply prefer to do so when it makes financial sense. "While the Honey Badger may be a little short at 5'9", his impact on the field awarded him an exuberant contract from the Cardinals just two years ago.

For the New Orleans Saints, wide receiver Michael Thomas was ready with his own pitch to Mathieu, a New Orleans native who played his high school football at St. Augustine.

The Cards, however, were dealing with a contract based on his excellent 2015 season, which Mathieu signed in training camp before the 2016 season.

"Come to the BLOCK, where all we trying to do is win every game and not get caught up in weirdo stuff", Thomas tweeted at the time.
