Approximately 250 National Guard troops were deployed to the Texas-Mexico border on Friday.

Brown's spokesman, Evan Westrup, said Monday that California is still reviewing President Trump's request for use of the state's National Guard members.

On Monday, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey deployed 225 state National Guard members to assist the Border Patrol at the U.S. -Mexico border in the Tucson and Yuma sectors.

The group didn't make it into the USA, but this is the type of activity the president wants to stop by deploying the National Guard to the border.

Arizona National Guard soldiers line up as they get ready for a visit from Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey prior their deployment to the Mexico border at the Papago Park Military Reservation Monday, April 9, 2018, in Phoenix.

"We're glad that they are coming", said one rancher who didn't want to be identified.

Ducey says the Arizona troops' mission is "about providing manpower and resources to support federal, state, county, tribal and local law enforcement agencies in stopping the flow of criminals, narcotics, weapons and ammunition that is being trafficked into our state". On Monday, Abbott told San Antonio radio station KTSA that Texas will significantly ramp up its commitment to President Trump's call over the next several weeks.

Administration officers have talked about that rising numbers of people being caught on the southern border, whereas in keeping with seasonal traits now, require an instantaneous response.

Authorities earlier said three were in critical but later provided an update to say that 15 have now died. Albert, Alta., have also died . "Spent a lot of time on a bus playing junior hockey in western Canada".

There is no end date for the deployment, Abbott said: "We may be in this for the long haul".

As Texas and Arizona follow President Donald Trump's vision to step up security at the U.S. -Mexico border, California has yet to indicate its plans on mobilizing National Guard troops.

If 4,000 troops were deployed, that would be about double the current United States military presence in Syria and about half as many as the number of USA troops in Iraq.

"Your support will free up the border agents to serve on the border allowing us to put more boots on the ground", Ducey said.

Trump had said on Thursday that the final deployment would range from 2,000 to 4,000 troops, and he would "probably" keep many personnel on the border until his promised border wall is built.

Apprehensions are still well below their historical trends during the terms of former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, both of whom also deployed the Guard to the border.

The Republican Ducey in a tweet Monday said more of the state's Guard members will be deployed on Tuesday. The caravan had sparked furious criticism from Trump, adopted days later by his Nationwide Guard border security deployment plan.

"It's not good for business, to be frank with you", Villarreal said.
