Manchester United have reached the FA Cup final for a record-equalling 20th time by beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-1.

Spurs had taken the lead in the first half when Dele Alli turned home Christian Eriksen's superb cross in the 11th minute at Wembley.

As with previous year, Spurs had plenty of the ball and carved some decent chances, but, when push came to shove, their rivals found something else in front of goal.

Despite the Spurs faithful roaring with every breath, United controlled possession, cranked up the pressure and Paul Pogba began to control the game with creativity and hard work all over the pitch, alongside the tenacious defensive work of Herrera in midfield.

A 2-1 collapse to United at Wembley Stadium on Saturday left Tottenham reeling from an eighth successive loss in the FA Cup semifinals. With the Cup exit, Spurs have gone over a decade without any silverware and Mauricio Pochettino needs to end this feat next season at the least.

He said that Tottenham, who have been without a trophy since 2008, need more time to build the mentality needed to win trophies.

Now we can go back to Manchester with the second place in the Premier League, even with one match less than Liverpool, and with a place in the final.

Ander Herrera's second half victor secured Mourinho a place in his third Cup Final in his second season as United manager and he didn't miss the opportunity to snap back at his doubters, after some stinging criticism in recent months.

Verizon, AT&T fall on report DOJ is probing collusion
The Department and AT&T declined to comment on the report and Verizon could not be immediately reached for comment. This would make it impossible for customers to switch carriers and runs counter to the objective of eSIM.

With seven goals in the national stadium for Arsenal and his country, Alexis clearly loves the place and after 24 minutes he made it eight goals here.

And having showed the side of his game that Mourinho detests for Spurs' opener, Pogba demonstrated his combination of physical power and technical ability as he outmuscled Mousa Dembele before delivering a pin-point cross for Sanchez to head home just his third United goal.

Pochettino was the first to blink as he reacted to falling behind by bringing Lucas Moura on and changing the shape of his side, with Victor Wanyama following him on 10 minutes later.

Spurs arrived at Wembley boasting the same impressive form and pedigree - plus most of the players - as they did before last season's FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea. His movement around the box and partnership with Harry Kane posed an issue for United's defenders early on, but he was well marshalled and eventually tied down as the second half unfolded. We deserved it. If we split the match into periods, we were the best team for many of these periods.

The sides went in at the break with the score at 1-1, but Mourinho wasn't happy.

Jose Mourinho has demanded Manchester United fans to be "better" at Old Trafford.

Acquiring the assuredness of winners will add another layer to this Spurs team - but until they actually win something then they will always have questions to answer.
