Jrue's problem was he only played 40 games during the regular season.

Pelicans: C Alexis Ajinca (R knee injury), C DeMarcus Cousins (L Achilles rupture) and G Frank Jackson (R foot fracture) are listed as out.

The Warriors are 5-1 ATS in their last six Saturday games. Think about Game 1, win Game 1, and go from there. And, of course, the load that is Davis. But Curry has been practicing with the Warriors this week and participated in a recent scrimmage, putting his status as questionable for tonight's Game 1. As the defending champs, Golden State being favored isn't a shocker. Davis was essentially the best player in the series looking at his stats. If you're into this kind of stuff, the player with the highest Game Score for the series was Davis.

While his numbers show that he could potentially become one of the greatest forwards in National Basketball Association history, the New Orleans Pelicans star has always felt like success in the postseason would be his main path to reaching such lofty goals.

Even without Curry, though, the Warriors have had little problem taking care of San Antonio, but their offense has been noticeable down in these playoffs. While the Pelicans have a coaching staff intimately familiar with the Warriors style in both Hornets head coach Alvin Gentry and associate head coach Darren Erman, who both served as assistants at Golden State, there is a difference in knowing how to stop the Warriors and executing that gameplan.

Trump commemorates 'Meds Yeghern', Armenian deaths of 1915
In January the French president, Emmanuel Macron, added 24 April to the French calendar to commemorate the events 100 years ago. He did not use the word "genocide", a term crucial for many Armenians but hotly rejected by Turkey.

While Davis hasn't stacked up playoff wins early during his early 20s the way stars like LeBron James and Kevin Durant have in the past, he owns the most important trait all superstars must possess: a lack of fear when adversity presents itself. Thompson and Curry are the best backcourt in the league and maybe of all time.

The Golden State Warriors did take the season series over the Pelicans, winning three of four games. The 25 year-old All-Star averaged 33 points and 11.8 rebounds in the series, setting a tone that the rest of his teammates followed.

Though Golden State has more firepower with four All-Stars on their team, New Orléans has talent on its roster as well.

The Warriors' general manager, Bob Myers, came right out and said it's possible-not guaranteed, but possible-that Curry will be back Saturday. The questions about New Orleans do not involve Davis or #PlayoffRondo, but they do center on Holiday and Mirotic. Rondo, meanwhile, leads all players in the playoffs with 13.3 assists per game. New Orleans is 2-2 ATS the spread againast the Warriors this season, with the only matchup since the calendar turned being a 126-120 win by New Orleans at Golden State on April 7.
