After having high expectations coming into the season, the Washington Wizards failed to live up to them as their campaign came to an end with a first-round playoff exit. And when his shot didn't fall, Porter still had a masterful mid-range game as his Plan B. But with Oubre's inability to hit an outside shot or even get to the basket, he was a liability on the offensive end of the floor and was basically rendered useless. The same thing happened again. Beal had 32 points.

The Wizards made seven of their first nine shots of the game, including three consecutive threes, to take an early 12-point lead.

Derrick Favors scored 13 points and Rudy Gobert had 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Jazz, who lost starting point guard Ricky Rubio to a left hamstring injury in the first quarter.

The Wizards were missing Otto Porter Jr. They didn't move the ball like they know they should have. His shooting is way up, as is his assist percentage, rebounding and steal rates.

The Wizards will enter another offseason with questions about the supporting cast around their two star guards. Both the Pacers and the Cavaliers are capable teams.

John Wall and the Washington Wizards were confident ahead of a must-win Game 6. The East's No. 1 seed will face LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers or the Indiana Pacers next. Also, while Toronto did not rebound well in game five, I am confident they can make the necessary adjustments from a rebounding standpoint as overall they are the better rebounding team. Valanciunas, who made his first fourth-quarter appearance of the series, had 14 points and 13 rebounds. The Raptors clinched the series four games to two, and advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals for the third straight season.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves with 23 points and 14 rebounds, and Jamal Crawford added 20 points. Pictured above is an action shot from game five of the series. The rest of the team, however, barely held up their end of the bargain. Assists, three-pointers attempted and bench points all took increased as the Raptors followed the growing league trend of pace and space. The bench stepped up as always - boosted by the return of Fred VanVleet, they combined for 34 points.

Draghi Faced Nowotny Plea to Discuss ECB Policy
The ECB left all its policy measures unchanged and did not touch the statement as expected . The impact of the euro's strength has been relatively limited so far, however.

If it weren't for Wall and Beal, who logged 40 and 43 minutes, respectively, the Wizards wouldn't have been in this game. They focused nightly on defense and playing the right way.

Washington is a 2-point favorite on the opening line, while the game's Over/Under (O/U) opened at 214.5 points. And boy did he live up to his word to start the second half.

It was another example of what Scott did so well this season. I told the guys, we've got bigger fish to fry. The Wizards didn't have the firepower to match. "You're gonna have ups and downs, especially in the playoffs ... and we gotta realize there's going to be ups and downs".

Up next: The offseason. Raptors beat the Wizards 102-92.

"Look at the percentages - to shoot 41 percent and then be 5-for-26 from 3 and have a chance to win it on the road. you couldn't ask for anything more".

"And for these guys to even compete the way they did and for Bradley Beal to have an MVP-type season for our team and making more strides is big time for us".
