The shooter, who has been identified as 29-year-old #John Williams, was initially scheduled to appear in court in MA on Wednesday, April 25, to face several gun charges.

The suspect believed to have shot and killed Cpl. "He really epitomized community policing even before there was community policing". Helicopters, cruisers and tactical vehicles prowled the region.

The suspect hid out in a remote campground in Norridgewock while being hunted by law enforcement.
