Mueller's far-reaching inquiry could determine whether Trump tried obstructing justice in sacking Comey or whether his presidential campaign colluded with Russian Federation during the 2016 election, according to a list of more than 40 questions obtained by the New York Times on Monday. Mueller is also probing whether Trump obstructed the investigation.

The questions also address Flynn's brief White House stint as the National Security Advisor to Trump and how former acting U.S. Attorney General Sally Yates tried to warn the Trump administration that he might have been compromised.

He was charged past year in Mueller's probe along with a former business associate, Richard Gates, of hiding millions of dollars made from lobbying work in Ukraine from USA authorities. Trump has denied any collusion or improper activity and called the Mueller investigation a witch hunt.

Former FBI Director James Comey slammed a House intelligence Committee report by Republicans that concluded President Trump's campaign didn't collude with Russian Federation to undermine the 2016 presidential election. Mueller planned to ask, according to the New York Times reporting.

But despite the Trump haters' best attempts to make something old into something new, the "informant" craze only had a half-life of about 48 hours.

Former FBI Director James Comey is dismissing a House Intelligence Committee report that found no collusion between Russian Federation and the Trump campaign.

Stormy Daniels sues President Trump for defamation over Twitter comments
Trump is also facing a NY defamation lawsuit filed by Summer Zervos, a former contestant on "The Apprentice". She is suing the president again, but this time for defamation of character by way of a #Tweet .

Mueller has charged 22 individuals and entities to date, including Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his associate Rick Gates. The Times report said it had condensed and paraphrased the questions themselves. Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to Federal Bureau of Investigation agents about those phone calls, which occurred in December 2016.

Manafort has pleaded not guilty to charges against him that include conspiring to launder money, failing to register as a foreign agent, bank fraud and filing false tax returns.

Trump has since added former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani to his legal team to help deal with Mueller's investigation.

The Times obtained a list of questions it said Mueller's team read over the telephone to Trump's legal team, which compiled them into a list.

"Among them are queries on any discussions Mr. Trump had about his attempts to fire Mr. Mueller himself and what the president knew about possible pardon offers to Mr. Flynn".
