Since late March, 39 protesters have been killed and more than 1,700 wounded by Israeli fire.

The Israeli army fears a mass push of thousands of protesters to break through the Gaza border fence and cross into Israel.

Someone has well said that everything is made in China, but courage is made in Palestine. The Israeli military aggression killed almost 2,200 Palestinians and injured over 11,100 others.

Israel says it only opens fire when necessary to stop attacks, infiltrations and damage to the border fence.

Also Friday, two IDF drones sent to observe the protests crashed on the Palestinian side of the border, with Palestinian media outlets claiming they were downed by protesters. Since the beginning of protests has killed 41 people.

The Israeli Army has faced criticism over using live fire against the protesters and in its defence, it said the action was being taken only when the protesters reached the limits.

The AP - which is hardly a radical news gathering organization - does mention the flaming kites, but not until the 4th paragraph, and it does not dwell on them. "I'm not afraid, only of Allah".

West Ham goalkeeper Joe Hart: I want permanent move this summer
Manchester City have played free flowing football throughout the season and this match was no different from that. In 2004/05 Chelsea managed to get 95 points, the most any team have ever got in a Premier League season.

Veteran US politician and former presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders delivered a blistering critique of the Israeli leadership and its response to the recent Gaza protests, lambasting "the reactionary policies of Prime Minister [Binyamin] Netanyahu" and "the inhumane blockade of Gaza".

The IDF shared video of the Kerem Shalom incident, during which Palestinians broke into the Palestinian side of the crossing and damaged pipelines carrying gas and oil into Gaza, which already suffers from a large energy shortage.

"The matter is being looked into", a statement from the army said.

Israel's Knesset on Monday passed a controversial law that allows the prime minister to bypass parliament and declare war or order a major operation on his own after only consulting his minister for military affairs.

An Israeli military spokeswoman had no immediate comment.

"If no solution happens by May 15 we will continue the protests or we die".

The move has deeply angered the Palestinians, who see the Israeli-annexed eastern sector of the city as the capital of their future state.
