According to CNBC, Comcast is now in talks with banks to make an all-cash offer for 21st Century Fox that would essentially upend Disney's current deal with the studio.

Disney said in its initial announcement that buying Fox assets would allow the company-which already owns Marvel and most of its properties-to "reunite the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Deadpool" with the rest of its Marvel brands. Fox previously rejected Comcast's $60 billion bid back in November due to similar regulatory concerns.

He also pointed to the huge increase in Comcast's debt the acquisition of both Fox and British pay-TV group Sky for nearly $100 billion in total would generate.

Comcast has also been inquiring with bankers about the potential for financing of an all-cash bid for Disney, should the conditions be favorable in the AT&T-Time Warner ruling, as first reported by Reuters. Like Disney, Comcast sought to buy Fox's entertainment networks, movie studios, television production and global assets, the filing shows. Sources informed the media that Comcast wouldn't make the offer to Fox until the court rules out the decision next month. That opened the door to Comcast's counteroffer. Comcast already has a $30 billion bridge loan to finance its Sky offer.

Next, Musk was asked many questions by Galileo Russell, a 25-year-old retail investor, and owner of a YouTube Channel. Tesla stock did rise a bit on Friday, getting a 3.82 percent bump to $295.31 per share at the time of publishing.

Fox CEO Rupert Murdoch had spurned an offer from Comcast at the time, even though it was 16% higher on a per share basis, because it didn't offer a breakup fee should regulators nix the deal.

Fox shares rose 5.13 percent to $39.99 on the news in after-hours trading in NY on Monday. He also believes that Murdoch covets the opportunity to become a major Disney shareholder.

Comcast Corporation shares were unchanged in premarket trading Tuesday.

Whether Disney or Comcast emerges victorious in the ongoing battle for 21st Century Fox, it has become clear that this is far from a done deal for the House of Mouse. It is not a solicitation to make any exchange in commodities, securities or other financial instruments.
