And although it's basically an SUV, don't call it one - Rolls-Royce wants you to think of the Cullinan as an "all-terrain, high-sided vehicle".

But the concept of modern luxury today has become as much about owning experiences as it is actual things, and the Cullinan is the auto that, Rolls-Royce says, will be able to facilitate that next level of go-anywhere luxury thanks to four-wheel drive, a maximum 54cm wading depth and a suite of driver modes. The Cullinan can go 1.7 inches deeper into the flood than the Bentley Bentayga, but comes up short of the 35.4-inch wading depth of a Range Rover. There's a small Rolls-Royce emblem hiding in that innermost portion, because of course there is. Dubbed as the most anticipated Rolls-Royce of all time (for obvious reasons), the luxury SUV will make its global debut on May 10 (Thursday). A glass partition separates the cabin from the 21.1-cubic-foot luggage compartment, while the brand's first folding rear-seat configuration transforms the Rolls-Royce pavilion seating position into a flat, cargo-friendly layout. The famous "power reserve" dial has been digitised, while other information displayed includes that for driver assistance, navigation, cruise control, fuel and temperatures levels. Rolls-Royce also integrated its logo into the design in an interesting way. This is our first look at the final product, and it could only be a Rolls-Royce.

Over 50 upset awardees skip India's national film awards ceremony
Former I&B Minister Manish Tewari asked the President to reconsider his decision calling the decision unfortunate. Actor Riddhi, the Best Actor victor for the film " Nagarkirtan ", will receive the honour from the President.

Also available at the back is a fully automated "viewing suite" with two seats that fold and swing out of a cassette in the luggage area and sit over the rear bumper for owners to perch on. Five USB ports can be used to charge electronic devices, while mobile phones can be wirelessly charged in the front of the cabin. The suspension system is also said to be carried over, along with the four-wheel drive system. This beltline then fades into the body, rather than forming a solid shoulder along the Cullinan's entire length, a styling element first introduced in the latest Phantom. The first in Rolls-Royce history.

Rolls-Royce claims that the Cullinan is the most "technologically advanced auto of its type in the world", thanks in part to its wealth of active driver assistance and safety features. We're just a few days away from the debut, but Rolls-Royce has chose to release a teaser of the Cullinan's taillights. A starting price of around £300,000 wouldn't be surprising, though it'll be entirely possible to spend far more once buyers begin the customisation process.
