This comes just the day after he pulled out of a landmark multilateral nuclear accord.

On Thursday, the Iranian government said that the country will remain in the nuclear deal, pending talks on the future of the agreement with China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and Germany.

He said foreign companies which have signed contracts with, or invested in Iran should clearly announce their decisions on how they are going to deal with Washington's pullout from the JCPOA.

The pact, better known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), between Iran and six world powers - the U.S., the UK, France, China, Russia and Germany - is essentially a bad one that rewarded a rogue regime.

Fourth, Trump's decision to renege on an worldwide agreement harms USA credibility and its relationship with other world powers.

Mr Trump said the deal initiated by the Obama administration fails to address Iran's ballistic missile programme or its alleged support of terror in the Middle East.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said Thursday that Russia will maintain close coordination on nuclear issues with Iran despite the U.S.'s decision.

She added that the US can not undo the agreement by pulling out, saying: "this deal is not a bilateral treaty".

"Iran must continue to meet its own obligations under the deal, cooperating fully and in a timely manner with IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) inspection requirements,"the three European leaders said. We saw the reversal of vows and lies and conspiracy from the untrusting Iranian regime".

Inspectors from the United Nations nuclear watchdog agency have said Iran is in compliance with the accord.

Professor Gillespie said it's unlikely that Iran would want to cheat on the deal because of the benefits it has experienced of having sanctions lifted.

After all, Iran will be free to develop nuclear weapons, and its people might well be even more open to the anti-American rhetoric of their leaders than before.

Bruno Le Maire said Friday on Europe-1 radio that Europe should not accept that the U.S.is the "world's economic policeman".

"Investors are increasingly viewing Kuwait and Iraq as the producers with the best ability to raise output quickly in response to any fall in Iranian exports", it added.

The U.S.'s allies, however, didn't seem to share grave concerns of the U.S. president, and strongly criticized the decision - not only for breaking an agreement, but also for risking the stability of the region.
