Averaging a 0.8 demo rating and 2.62 million total viewers this season (in Live+Same Day numbers), Gotham ranks next-to-last in both measures among all Fox dramas (besting only the recently cancelled The Exorcist).

An episode count for Gotham Season 5 has not yet been determined, but it's possible this upcoming season could consist of only 13 episodes as opposed to the traditional 22.

This weekend brought some fantastic news for Gotham fans. FOX dropped Lucifer like a hot potato, surprising everyone, andLucifer's numbers are a lot better than Gotham's are.

There is one more season to come from "Gotham", and it will be its last. Ben McKenzie stars on the series, which revolves around a young Bruce Wayne. Instead of paying licensing rights to Warner Bros, FOX looked to keep as much content in-house as possible.

The season four finale of Gotham will air on Thursday (May 17th). While the show's first season was greeted with a lukewarm critical reception, later seasons were embraced by fans and critics alike.
