American actress Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who Wednesday may 19, will leave on a wedding trip to Alberta, Canada.

It was Africa where Harry, 33, whisked Meghan, 36, away just around four weeks after the couple first met on a blind date in London last July.

A spokesperson later said that although the lodge "has a longstanding history of serving as a royal retreat", the couple is "not now booked for a stay". "If a location leaks prior to travel, it compromises their safety on the trip, and they'll be advised by their protection team to change plans".

The couple will have been sent gifts from a number of people and businesses but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not want to be unintentionally promoting certain things by association - hence the policy of rejecting all gifts.

Royal weddings have a history of being among the most-viewed TV events of the year, but 2018 may turn out to be different.

On freebies from businesses, the official rules say: "When gifts are accepted, the consent of the Member of the Royal Family should be contingent upon the enterprise undertaking not to exploit the gift for commercial purposes".

As renovations are being made to Harry and Meghan's Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace, the two have signed a two-year lease for another property they will spend their weekends at, Us Weekly reports. The now-divorced couple married in 1986, also at Westminster Abbey - and the big day was watched by a massive 18.7 million viewers, according to Barb.
