Senegal surprised the football world after their 2-1 win over Poland to become the first African team to win a match in this summer's World Cup in Russian Federation.

Maurizio Sarri has put forward his demand to sign Gonzalo Higuain this summer from Juventus once he becomes Chelsea manager. "It's disappointing that he leaves like this".

Current Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who has closely observed Mertens from his time in Italy, was eager to sign him when he was appointed at the helm in 2014.

The 31-year-old, who scored 22 goals for the Italian League runners up last season, scored a fine goal in the Red Devils 3-0 win over Panama on Monday evening in their opening Group G game, a group that they are favourites to win.

Sarri's move for Martusciello will see the pair reunite at Stamford Bridge after spending time together at Empoli, prior to Sarri's departure for Napoli's top job in 2015.

The United Arab Emirates ambassador to UN agencies in Geneva maintained the Saudi-Emirati coalition had no choice but to act. The US has been supplying crucial information to the Saudi-led coalition, as well as refueling their warplanes.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Sarri is already putting together his Chelsea FC backroom staff despite no official announcement from the west London side about his anticipated appointment.

Golovin's potential has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs with the Express claiming that Arsenal and Manchester United have held a long-standing interest in the midfielder while Italian champions Juventus have also been linked more recently.

"[Chelsea fans] can expect nice football because he is a very good coach", Koulibaly told talkSPORT after Senegal's win. He then tried convincing the club board to make a move for him last summer, but failed to do so once again before the player penned a new deal with Napoli.

It's not just in the transfer department where Sarri is hard at work.
