"She's calling the police on an 8-year-old little girl".

In an interview with the Huffington Post, Ettel said there was no racial motivation behind it, noting she only "pretended" to call the cops.

The video shows the woman making a phone call and Austin confronting her.

"She came out and walked directly up to my daughter and asked to see the permit", Austin told CNN. That's when the girl's mother, Erin Austin stepped in. "So I said, 'OK, call the cops.' And she did".

'I did not want to see the police because I was scared, ' she said.

The video shows Ettel trying to duck to avoid being recorded before explaining that the girl was "illegally selling water without a permit".

The girl was selling the bottles outside the family's apartment complex across from AT&T Stadium, where the San Francisco Giants play, when Ettel asked her for a permit, USA Today said.

As for the young girl, it turns out the entire reason she was selling water bottles was to save up money to go to Disneyland, according to her cousin on Twitter.

But after Raje's video went viral, a stranger bought four tickets for Jordan and her family to visit the theme park.

Marijuana Bill C-45 Is Passed: Now What?
The Senate voted 52 to 29 in favour of a revised bill from the elected House of Commons, and there were two abstentions. Now that it's passed through both houses of Parliament, Trudeau has to decide the date when legalization is official.

In a now-viral video of the incident, the girl's mother is heard saying, "This woman don't want a little girl to sell some water". She confronted the little girl, who has been identified as being named as Jordan, because she wanted to question if sale was legitimate. "That's when the lady proceeded to call the police".

We think Permit Patty learned her lesson here: don't try to mobilize the police against people of color just because one is personally annoyed they're being too loud. Ettel said she's getting online death threats, stating she feels "discriminated against".

She says her son was about 50 feet away selling beverages and snacks on the same day.

"Don't hide, the whole world gonna see you, boo", the woman filming says.

'After seeing this video of their CEO, calling the police on an 8 year old entrepreneur selling water on a hot day, we decided without hesitation that we could no longer patronize her company, ' the dispensary said.

People uncovered Ettel's identity soon after the publication of the videos, which were viewed more than 8 million times on Instagram and Twitter in just two days.

The San Francisco Police Department told NBC News that it received no such call from Ettel.

Many of Ettel's online critics have condemned her actions on Friday as racially motivated, an assessment Austin agrees with. Her daughter, Jordan, is biracial and Ettel is white. "Thank you for teaching her all people aren't so s-y".

Ettel also said that she never called to report Jordan, but rather to inquire about whether what the mother and daughter were doing was legal.
