The makeup mogul behind the famous Kylie Cosmetics line is on track to becoming a self-made billionaire as her makeup line is now worth a staggering $900 million.

The beauty guru debuted her Kylie Cosmetics line two years ago, and it has since sold more than $630 million worth of makeup, the outlet reports.

Forbes conservatively valued her company at US$800 million and raised her overall worth to US$900 million by throwing in earnings from television programmes, endorsements and after-tax dividends. She's the youngest person on the list and another year of growth will make her the youngest self-made billionaire ever, male or female, trumping Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who became a billionaire at 23.

Kylie Kristen Jenner being the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner family is an American TV personality, entrepreneur, model and socialite. (We estimate that 37-year-old Kardashian West, for comparison, is worth $350 million.) But she's not just making history as a woman.

"Social media is an fantastic platform", Jenner told Forbes. "I think I struggled for a minute with finding something to do on my own", she said. "I have such easy access to my fans and my customers". Jenner owns 100 percent of it.

Jenner, who turns 21 in August, appears on the cover of the financial magazine's "America's Women Billionaires" issue.
