Butler has reportedly requested a trade to Brooklyn, New York or the Los Angeles Clippers.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert and Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor were recently spotted talking at the NBA Board of Governors meeting on Friday and the Cavs are one of the teams interested in pursuing four time All-Star Jimmy Butler.

Towns' agent, Leon Rose of CAA Sports, informed the organization of Towns' intention to sign the extension on Saturday night, sources said.

Though the $190 million figure stands out, it is contingent upon Towns making one of the All-NBA teams next season, or winning Defensive Player of the Year or NBA MVP next season in either of the next two seasons. He played in 59 games for the Timberwolves last season, averaging 22.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 2.0 steals per game.

In his letter, Khan also said the two countries need to pay "close attention" to resolving the Siachin and Sir Creek issues. There has been no action against the mastermind and executors of the Pathankot, Uri and the subsequent terror attacks.

"On June 25, 2015, I was drafted to and committed to the Minnesota Timberwolves", Towns said in a statement, per his Instagram.

The Heat would be a good fit for Butler, who's entering the final year of his contract. He is scheduled to earn a base salary of $18.7 million in 2018-19.

National Basketball Association club "Minnesota Timberwolves" have agreed on a contract extension with star center Karl-Anthony Towns.

The deal will pay Towns, 22, more than he could make with any other team under a rule in the collective bargaining agreement that allows teams to pay a home-grown player coming off his rookie contract 35 percent of the National Basketball Association salary cap. But it's likely Minnesota would want a hefty package in return for Butler, so Miami may have to part with Justise Winslow and/or multiple draft picks to get a deal done.
