Elizabeth Warren, who is expected to cruise to re-election next week, echoed former President Barack Obama's criticism of Trump's chatter about ending birthright citizenship with the swipe of a pen.

Both gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum and incumbent Sen.

"Black progressive candidates are betting that Trump's high disapproval rating among black voters coupled with the chance to make history will be sufficient motivation to increase turnout", wrote Theodore Johnson of the Brennan Center for Justice.

The Gillum campaign, in the final week, cut ties with a campaign volunteer caught on video calling Florida a "cracker" state and saying the campaign was taking advantage of "white guilt". He is running against Democrat Bill Nelson, who now holds a Florida Senate seat.

Trump, Knight and Vice President Mike Pence, a former IN governor, will be rallying supporters behind Republican Mike Braun, who is running against Sen.

Buffett, a longtime Florida Democrat and environmental activist, changed some lyrics for the event.

In line outside the venue, hours before Obama would take the stage, supporters - who had followed Trump's recent trip to the state - said they welcomed the juxtaposition. Gillum said after being greeted with thunderous applause from an overflow Okaloosa crowd.

"And I say, all I'm doing is just telling the truth, what can I say?" he said. He ran for U.S. Senate in 2016, dropping out when Republican U.S. Sen.

Feuding from a distance, President Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama exchanged tough words Friday as they sought to rally their parties' base voters in the final days before the midterm elections.

No matter how many times reporters ask him or how much adulation is finally coming his way, the answer is still yes. White explains how pleased he is with Cormier's performance, calling him "one of the all-time great champions".

DeSantis, meanwhile, has touted an endorsement from Trump, who showed up Saturday to headline a rally for him and Scott.

Republican Ron DeSantis (left) and Democrat Andrew Gillum debate at Broward College on October 24 in Davie, Florida. "We can win these races not by dividing people, but by bringing folks together to give them something to vote for, and not just against".

DeSantis spent part of his Sunday a few exits north on I-95 in Boca Raton, campaigning alongside special guest former New York Mayor (and Trump lawyer) Rudy Giuliani.

Obama will return to the trail on Sunday, headlining rallies for Donnelly in Gary, Indiana, and in his hometown of Chicago for J.B. Pritzker, who is running for IL governor.

Trump covets the Senate seats held by Democrats Joe Donnelly of IN and Joe Manchin of West Virginia, two states that the president won handily IN 2016.

But speaking with Roll Call in Orlando on Friday, Scott exuded confidence.

"We need leaders who will actually stand up for what's right, regardless of party", Obama said. "I don't think there's ever been public polls that have said I was going to win in these elections".

"That's why I'm here", Trump said. Kissimmee is home to many transplants from Puerto Rico.

"Of all the voters in Florida, Puerto Ricans can understand what is at stake in this election", Nelson said at the Kissimmee event. After highlighting a number of the steps undertaken by the state to assist in the response, Scott turned back to Nelson. "He knows he's going to lose".
