Floyd Mayweather to face star kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa at RIZIN 14 in Japan on New Year's Eve

TOKYO-Floyd Mayweather is planning on fighting Japanese kick-boxer Tenshin Nasukawa on December 31 in Saitama, north of Tokyo.

"He is very fast, very young, and I am pretty sure he wants to go out and entertain his people", said Mayweather.

Nasukawa, for his part, is relishing the chance to fight with Mayweather, admitting his surprise when he was offered the opportunity.

"I love that I was able to get with two heavy hitters from my team and we were able to come together to make this event happen", he said. "I believe they were here before us". When it's all said and done, it's all about me going out there displaying my skills against another skilful fighter. Nasukawa recently beat former UFC flyweight title contender Kyoji Horiguchi in a kickboxing war at RIZIN FF 13.

"Teppen" has won all 27 of his professional contests, as well as his four mixed martial arts bouts.

Several times during the news conference, Mayweather referred to creating excitement, and nothing excites him more than making huge amounts of money. Although rumors have been circulating of Mayweather possibly fighting UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in the boxing ring or taking on Conor McGregor in a mixed martial arts fight, neither of those fights will be next.

Such payments were "known to Ng, Leissner and other employees" of the bank, according to prosecutors. Roger Ng, the other charged former Goldman banker, was arrested in Malaysia, prosecutors said.

'My opponent looks taller than he actually is and I think that comes from the aura that he has, but I think I can hit him, ' he said. We're giving the people something that they've never seen before.

Mayweather is a ideal 50-0 as a pro boxer, while Nasukawa holds a 27-0 kickboxing mark and a 4-0 record in MMA. Nasukawa, a southpaw, now holds the Rizin featherweight belt, at 126 pounds. And I will show that to you.

"It's the biggest moment in my life and I want to be the man who changes history".

"As far as the weight class, we're not really anxious about that", he said.

"I'm not particular about the rules - with or without kicks - it could be just boxing", said Nasukawa. 'The victor of big dream fights that all people want to see'.

Time will tell what he means by "special bout".
